WSP kindly hosted one of our residents on the LSE programme who has an interest in working and understanding the waste management industry and he shadowed the team as they conducted a waste audit at Make it Barking.
Quote from Resident:
“I enjoyed my visit to Make it Barking. It was really interesting to see how hard Kirsty and others there work to make sure the waste is dealt with. I never realised how much work goes into managing a huge building and I enjoyed seeing the different bins for making sure the right stuff goes into the right bins. I would like to work in the waste industry especially recycling”.
