  • 35 hours a week
  • 8am to 4pm – Monday to Friday
  • Payroll experience needed
  • Dagenham based

Essential Skills:

  • ·         Understanding digital payroll
  • ·         Experience in a similar role
  • ·         Good working knowledge of Excel
  • ·         Ability to work independently when required
  • ·         Reliable and committed
  • ·         High degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • ·         Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • ·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  •           Good working Knowledge of aspects of payroll

Desirable Skills:

  • ·         Understanding of social care
  • ·         Experience of credit control
  • ·         Good administrative skills Experience in a similar role

Main Duties:

1. Leasing with colleagues in a clear and efficient manner
2. To run payroll Services and run payrolls for service users
3. To liaise with service users
4. To liaise local authorizes steak holders
5. To produce wages journals and any other ad hoc journals
6. Complete bank reconciliations
7. To receive, validate, tax codes
8. Monitor Auto-Enrolment Pension scheme for service users
9. Maintain accurate finical records
10. Respond to requested for information received from external agencies
11. Perform payroll checks and liaise with payroll Team to ensure compliance with ILA policies and UK Legislation
12. Deal with any payroll queries from service users and local authorities
13. Assist Deputy CEO prepare and analyses budgets
14. To line manger the payroll team and ensure that all staff are aware of their roles
15. The above mentioned duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the potholders may be required to carry out such other duties as may be required by the ceo within the grading level of this post and the competence of the postholder.
