Overview:

Re-Gen UK is a growing provider of construction and refurbishment services, and we are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on various properties
• Performing general building maintenance, including carpentry, plastering, and tiling
• Inspecting, testing, and servicing key building systems to ensure functionality and compliance
• Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and company standards
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and completing work efficiently
• Working independently or alongside a team to deliver high-quality results
• Providing professional advice to clients and recommending cost-effective solutions

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Relevant trade certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are a plus
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
