Food Enterprise Network

Are you a local food business or enterprise that’s supporting the health of your customers and the planet, and reducing food waste? Join our Food Enterprise Network!

Why should I join?

Food Enterprise Network members will get priority access to new trading opportunities for food businesses in the borough.

Is my business eligible?

To join the network you need to be:

  • registered with Barking & Dagenham Council
  • 4+ hygiene rating (you can apply if you’re a new business that hasn’t yet been inspected. However, once you’ve been inspected, we require you to have a rating of 4 or 5)

How do I apply?

Businesses need to apply for a ‘Food Enterprise Network’ digital badge. In your application, you will need to demonstrate that you’re taking action across all four areas of the Good Food Enterprise Charter.

Once your form is complete, your application will be processed, and a member of our team will be in touch with you regarding the next steps.

Badges are issued annually; businesses will need to make progress on their actions to be eligible for a renewal.
