Our free recruitment service has a dedicated construction team that provides a matching service for construction companies and local people seeking to work in construction and the built environment.
This team can work with anyone in London who is seeking to work in construction, not just Barking and Dagenham residents, whether you are new to the sector, a returner, or already working in construction. (Please note that for those living outside the borough, this excludes those seeking plumbing, electrical, welfare, cleaning and site admin roles.)

Training
Our specialist construction training facility – the Barking Riverside Innovation in Construction (BRIC) centre – offers nationally recognised qualifications that are essential for anyone wishing to work on a construction site as well as those seeking to upskill and renew their tickets, including an on-site test centre where you can take your CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test and CSCS card assessments.
As part of the training package, you will be assigned a job broker from our construction team to discuss and apply for jobs in the sector.
