One of our favourite days at Film Barking & Dagenham is our annual Enterprise Pitch Day, where creativity, ambition and innovation take center stage.
After completing six weeks of academic resources, students develop original film and creative business ideas, transforming them into professional pitches. This year, 4 primary schools and 4 secondary schools from across the borough went head-to-head in a Dragon’s Den-style competition, presenting their ideas to a panel of industry professionals.
The level of creativity was incredible, proving once again that some of the most exciting talent in the UK is right here in Barking & Dagenham.

After 6 weeks of learning and studying academic resources, to creating an incredibly successful pitch for Pitch Day, Manor Junior were awarded the Primary school trophy.
